A TikToker is going viral for showing how he turned Mountain Dew into wine. A food scientist named Charles Biolo spent a month trying to figure out how to make a Mountain Dew wine and finally came up with a plan – combine Mountain Dew with honey and yeast in a mead kit and let it ferment for a few weeks and see what happens. He said the yeast devoured most of the sugar, and fermentation occurred much faster than he had thought. After about two months, he checked his work and found he had created an actual wine with an estimated alcoholic content of 13.9%. He said the finished product "didn’t taste completely like battery acid” and described it as a citrus mead with a "slight chemical aftertaste." Yum?
