At a mall near London, Santa repelled from the ceiling as part of a tree-lighting ceremony. His beard got stuck and he had to hang in mid-air for about 40 minutes until a soldier could repel down and cut the beard off. But in the meantime, the mall went ahead with the rest of their tree-lighting ceremony anyway.
