Bakersfield, California has a double-A hockey team called the Bakersfield Condors. And on Friday, they brought an ACTUAL condor out on the ice during the National Anthem and of course it got loose.

It didn't fly around at all. But it tried to run across the ice, which was pretty pathetic. Then the handler grabbed it, and HE FELL trying to run across the ice . . . which was even MORE pathetic. --This all happened right in front of the girl who was singing. But she somehow managed to keep a straight face.

Eventually, the bird jumped up onto the Condors' bench where the players were . . . almost took out the head coach . . . then headed down the tunnel toward the locker room.
