Remember T.G.I.F. on ABC, Friday nights?
Some of the kids who grew up on those sitcoms have started posting vintage photos on Instagram.
In this picture (left to right) Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler on "Full House"), Jeremy Miller (Ben in "Growing Pains"), Jaleel White (Steve Urkel in "Family Matters") and Candace Cameron (D.J. Tanner from "Full House")
Thanks to the Cambridge Fire Department for inviting me to the first ever 'Fire on the Rum'- I had a GREAT time, Saturday!
Not only did it end up being a gorgeous night- I got to talk to/meet/hang out with a bunch of FUN people!
Could this be true? Men in Europe may soon be forced to sit down and pee.
Peeing standing up could become illegal for men in Europe.
The movement to create “sitting only” public restrooms started in Sweden and is gaining steam, with socialist and feminist political groups- the reasoning behind the law- to make restrooms cleaner.
Some of these activists have actually begun carrying signs saying, “Drop your trousers and
sit” – with a picture of a man peeing standing up covered by a big red “X.”
Guys- would you welcome this change if it happened in the U.S. or is standing while "going" something you prefer?
I know there are many women gamers out there- but would've never guessed that almost as many women as men are playing video games. Here are the numbers...
*45% of gamers are women.
*70% of women between the ages of 12 and 24 play video games.
*61% of women between the ages of 45 and 64 play video games – compared to 57% of men in the same age group.
Those numbers seem high to me- maybe because I gave up video games after the first edition of the Nintendo went out of vogue. When I was a kid, I loved playing this game called "Adventure Island"- wish I still had the ability to play it- my Friday night would be set!
That percentage is from a poll conducted last year- according to new research- the number is growing.
I guess I'm not surprised. Do you do it?
Changing up your look from time to time is fun- but are those changes making you look older?
1. Dark Lipstick- Deep shades make a surface look smaller, that includes your lips. Opt for a brighter color and/or some gloss.
2. Too-Sleek Hairstyle- This look can make your face look drawn and emphasize pores, instead try a more textured, loose look.
3. Over-Concealing Dark Circles- Instead of putting concealer over the entire bottom of your eye, just brush a little on over the needed area.
4. Cakey Foundation- Too much foundation can actually accentuate wrinkles and make you appear older.
5. Lower Lash Mascara- This can accentuate crows feet and make your eye look smaller.
6. Short Necklaces- If your neck isn't your best feature, don't wear a short necklace. It makes your neck look shorter.
I've done 4 out of the 6. These tips combined with the 'fashion trends that turn guys off' blog from Tuesday- I'm not doing so well in the fashion and makeup department this week. How about you?
A California couple had a garage sale, June 1st. One of the attendees bought what the seller thought was an empty watch box- little did he know- there was something extremely valuable in it...
HIS WIFE'S ENGAGEMENT RING!
It's valued at $23,000.
The watch box and ring was bought by a blonde woman and as of now- has not been returned.
Naturally, the husband "feels terrible."

Health experts recommend we eat these five foods daily, not only for nutritional reasons, they'll make us feel less deprived and crave less junk food.
5. Winter Squash
Hmmm- I think I could eat spinach, eggs and apples every day, maybe the blueberries, but winter squash 7 days a week- no way!
