I had never been to the Cabooze before, but I got there at 7 p.m. to get in line for the show. I could not believe that the line was already wrapped around the building for people waiting to get in. Everyone was so excited and could hardly wait to get in to see the show. By the time the doors opened I was shocked to see how long the line was. I thought there was no way that that many people could fit inside the little building… Well I was very wrong. I got in and immediately I could barely move. I knew that as more and more people would pile in it would get harder and harder to move. So I posted up right next to the other awesome K102 interns and got ready for the sold out show! I was so excited for Brantley to come onto the stage!

A couple of the interns and I decided to attempt to get as close to the stage as we could. We definitely got closer than I thought; there were only three or four people in front of us, so our view of the stage was phenomenal. The moment the lights went out and music started playing I knew that I was going to be in for a treat! I did not realize how much Brantley Gilbert captivates the crowd. He had the whole crown rocking out and having a great time! Everyone was drenched head to toe in sweat, but no one cared because we were all so engaged in the music and having a great time. I do not think I have been to a country concert where everyone was jumping up and down and rocking out this much. When Brantley took his shirt off, the first thing I noticed was all of his tattoos! It was awesome to see that a nice country boy can still be a little edgy with tats! J Overall this was an awesome concert and I can’t wait for Brantley to come back to Minnesota!
