(WENN) - Gwen Sebastian had a Christmas to remember after getting engaged.

The country star took to her Twitter page to share her happy news after her drummer boyfriend Louis Newman popped the question over the festive season.

It has been an eventful 2012 for Sebastian - she was invited to tour with Blake Shelton after she was kicked off The Voice in March, and she also joined him onstage at the Academy of Country Music Awards in April.
