Kellie Pickler appeared on HLN's "Showbiz Tonight" last night, where she defended fellow country star Luke Bryan. During the MLB All-Star game, Bryan was caught checking the lyrics to the song that he had written on his hand during his performance. He also checked his watch.

Bryan has since apologized, but not without causing much controversy first.

"I love him," Pickler said when asked about Bryan. "That's a hard song to sing and there's a lot of people there. A lot of times the people that are being bullies and picking at whoever, they wouldn't be out there doing that."

She went on to further defend his mishap, saying "So what?! He's a really great guy and he sung his butt off. It was all about the game and having a good time. People just need to quit being bullies."

Pickler also put to rest the latest rumors saying she will be a judge on American Idol.

"I do not wanna be a judge," she said. "All I have ever wanted to do is live on a tour bus and be a country singer. All I want to do is sing my songs. I don't want to tell anybody else what to do. I don't want to tell anyone else what to sing. I just want to do my thing and sing my songs."
