Craig Morgan held his 6th Annual Charity Motocross Ride, Concert and Sporting Clay shoot August 11 and 12, where he raised more than $73,000 for his charity, bringing the four-year total to $250,000.
The Craig Morgan Charity Fund helps foster children in Dickinson County and throughout Middle Tennessee. The ultimate goal of Morgan's foundation is to establish Billy's Place, a home for temporarily displaced children.
"Year-after-year I am blown away by the support of this event from our celebrity friends and the Dickinson and Middle Tennessee communities," Morgan said. "I am so proud of the amount of money raised to help the children and families in this area and am already looking forward to our 7th annual event next summer."
Bucky Covington made an appearance at the event, along with motocross stars Destry Abbott, Fred Andrews, Cowboy Kenny Bartram, Randy Hawkins and Kevin Windham. They treated fans to an exhibition and a trail ride to kick off the weekend. Morgan, Darryl Worley and Robin Mede performed that same evening.
The event also held a silent auction, which featured prizes such as a hunting trip alongside Craig Morgan, which went for over $6,000.
