Jason Aldean gave the K102 Wakeup Crew the inside scoop on his new album "Night Train," set to release on Oct. 16th. The album will include Aldean's latest single "Take a Little Ride," which was one of the very first tracks cut for the album. The song is Aldean's highest chart debut to date and it sold more digital downloads in its first week than any male country artist in history.
"Night Train" has 15 news songs that spin off Aldean's latest "My Kind of Party" album including "The Only Way I Know," a collaboration with Luke Bryan and Eric Church. Amy James favored the last track of album called "Water Tower," which describes Aldean's life in Georgia and his transition to Nashville.
"I'm drawn to songs that represent me and what I'm feeling at the time," Aldean said.
Jason Aldean will be performing at the 46th Annual Country Music Awards on November 1st and has been nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Single of the Year for "Dirt Road Anthem."
