This week, Kenny Chesney will be taking a "shot across the bow" of winter when he releases a BRAND NEW song off his upcoming album. The song, called "Pirate Flag" will be released to radio coming up on January 31st.

Chesney's new song is being described as an "up-tempo" song that is anthem for the "everyday man" with lyrics such as: "Where I am may be great, but don't think I'll ever surrender to the 9-to-5."

The song was written by David Lee Murphy and Ross Cooperman and needless to say, Chesney is excited for everyone to hear it!

"No matter where you are, no matter how you live, there is that part of you that yearns to be free, to say, 'What the hell...' and just do what you want to do," Chesney said.
