Carrie Underwood celebrated her latest No. 1 single, "Good Girl," at an invitation-only party at the Country Music Association building in Nashville, on Tuesday Aug. 28.

Carrie co-wrote the song along with Ashley Gorley and Chris DeStefano and told reporters before the event that she thought the song would be the perfect kickoff to her Blown Away album.

"When you think of a first single from a new album, I like one that is up-tempo and fun," Carrie said. She added that, "It was one of the last songs we wrote [for the album]. I actually crashed Chris and Ashley's writing session. They were writing in L.A. and I had a day off. They kind of had this groove going and by the end of a couple hours we had it down."

Carrie has also been busy rehearsing for her "Blown Away" tour that is about to start sweeping across North America. She tweeted yesterday that,

"Been rehearsing for #TheBlownAwayTour. 16 days to go!"
