It’s official – Garth Brooks‘ three-year residency at the Wynn Las Vegas is coming to an end next month.

Brooks’ final show at the Encore Theater will take place November 17.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wynn,” Brooks said in a press release issued today. “Mr. Wynn told me that the Wynn audiences were some of the best in the world and he was right. As for Steve Wynn, he is one of the smartest guys I have ever had the pleasure of talking to or listening to. He does everything top notch and is the easiest and best boss I have ever worked for … I just love him!”

Wynn said Brooks is always welcome to come back.

“I have always thought of Garth Brooks as a brother and this will always be a home for him,” said Wynn Resorts Chairman and CEO Steve Wynn. “Personally, I’ve never stopped being amazed at Garth’s talent, nor have I ever stopped admiring the wonderful balance that he has maintained as a father and a superstar. He is to me, the rarest of all combinations: incredibly gifted and a man of great character.”

So now the question is if this means Brooks will return to touring? In July, the superstar said he’d “love to tour again,” but told reporters he won’t consider it until his youngest daughter graduates high school in 2014.

Brooks began his run at the Wynn in December of 2009. The remaining show dates are October 5, 6, 26, 27, and November 16-17.
