We all know that, for the most part, brides have traditionally and historically done the bulk of wedding planning. However, these days, over 60-percent of couples say that the groom has now become a lot more involved.

Here are five ways grooms are helping out...

#1 - Over half of couples say that the groom picks the venue

#2 - Traditionally, the bride's family used to pay for everything and 52-percent of couples say that her parents are paying for some of the costs. However, over 44-percent of couples now say that his parents are also contributing money to the wedding.

#3 - Over one-third of grooms now help pick the cake

#4 - One-third of grooms are now responsible for getting a better price on all aspects of the wedding.

#5 - Now, one in 20 grooms now say that they chose the flowers for the wedding.
