In 2003, Jamie Carpentier got divorced from his ex-wife and she ended up with their basset hound, Ginger. At the time, she (the dog) was only three and over the last 10 years, Jamie lost track of her. 

That all changed last month when Carpentier wanted to adopt another dog and went online to check out local animal shelters. In doing that, he found a dog that matched and looked a lot like his old dog, Ginger. 

Long story short, he knew that was his old dog and when he went to check it out, Ginger recognized him right away! The two of them have been reunited and they both are very happy.
