Carrie Underwood seems to be having a ball with her co-stars in rehearsals for NBC’s The Sound of Music. While on the red carpet at Tuesday night’s T.J. Martell Honors Gala, Carrie revealed she moved to New York City three weeks before rehearsals started to get ahead on memorizing lines for her lead role as Fräulein Maria.
She said, “I wanted to be here and have all my lines memorized and everything and be ready for it. It’s been really wonderful. Audra McDonald and Laura Benanti are incredible. Stephen Moyer is great. It’s nice to be surrounded by that much talent.”
She added, “This is a live show on TV. So this is definitely a challenge for all of us.”
Underwood also seemed pretty excited to watch Sting perform at the event...
